Math worksheets your student answers right on the screen, graded the moment they tap Submit, from counting all the way to vector calculus.
You tick what your student already knows. Inklings Math builds a worksheet from the few topics they are ready for next, and your student works through it in the app: typing each answer, or picking it from buttons when the answer is a word or a long expression. Submit grades it at once, and the next worksheet takes account of it, holding a topic back until it is solid and slipping in the occasional refresher from something already mastered.
How it works
- Mark what your student already knows, or leave it blank to start at counting.
- Your student answers the worksheet on the screen. Their answer is written onto the problem's blank as they type, the way it would be on paper.
- Submit grades it straight away: stars, the score, and every mistake to look over, with a full worked solution and one more try at each.
- The next worksheet is built from what that showed.
- Optionally set a parent PIN. Settings, tests, manual worksheets and the answer key then sit behind it.
Rewards that reward learning
- XP for every right answer, a bonus for finishing and for a perfect sheet, and more for each topic mastered and each test passed. Nothing is ever taken away.
- 25 ranks to climb, from Counting Cub to Grand Mathemagician.
- A daily streak, with streak shields earned every seven days so one missed day does not undo a month.
- Trophies in bronze, silver, gold and platinum: Problem Solver, Perfectionist, Hot Streak, Topic Master, Grade Climber, Test Ace, Fix-It Pro and more.
- The rewards grow up with your student: animal ranks, stars and confetti in the early grades; competitive tiers, scores and achievements in middle and high school; and for precalculus and calculus, a quiet focus on mastery, course progress and a study streak.
- Speed only counts in Mad Minute (Grades 2 to 5), a race against the clock through 42 times-table facts with personal bests for each factor.
What is inside
- 1,318 topics across 16 levels, carefully ordered so nothing arrives before what it depends on.
- Numbers are generated fresh each time, small and simple when a topic is new and harder as your student gets it right.
- Word problems throughout, not only bare arithmetic.
- Shapes are drawn to scale, and geometry problems come with the figure they describe.
- Every topic has a how-to page with the method, the common mistakes, and worked examples, a tap away beside each section.
- Up to 30 students on one device, each with their own progress, worksheets and history.
What it needs
- An iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later.
- Nothing else. Worksheets can still be printed or shared as a PDF if you would like a paper copy.
What it doesn't do
- No adverts, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no in-app purchases.
- No network connections of any kind. It works entirely offline, and everything your student does stays on your device.
