Inklings Physics

Physics, worked out and checked.

Diagrams drawn to scale, and answers checked the way a teacher would.

Measurement to relativity.

488 topics across ten levels, from Grade 6 to modern physics.

Diagrams drawn to scale.

Free-body diagrams, ramps, pulleys, circuits and rays, so a 30° slope really is drawn at 30°.

Checked the way a teacher would.

Three significant figures, scientific notation, and the units already in place.

Physics worksheets your student answers on the screen and that grade themselves the moment they tap Submit, from measurement and Newton's laws all the way to special relativity.

You tick what your student already knows. Inklings Physics builds a worksheet from the next few topics in the course, every problem drawn with its diagram. Your student works it out with a pencil, paper and a calculator, types each number into a box laid out like the answer (the units are written for them) and picks the directions: left or right, north or east, real or virtual. Tap Submit and the sheet is marked at once. Every mistake opens its full worked solution, then a fresh problem like it to try, and the next worksheet takes account of everything: holding a topic back until it is solid, and slipping in the occasional refresher from something already mastered.

How it works

What is inside

What it needs

  • An iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later.
  • An internet connection only for watching the videos. Everything else works offline.
  • A printer only if you want a worksheet on paper too. Any AirPrint printer works.

What it doesn't do

  • No adverts, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no in-app purchases.
  • No network connections of its own. Everything your student does stays on your device. The only thing that ever leaves the app is a video you choose to open, which plays in YouTube or Safari, or an update you choose to send.
